First impressions with the ideal titan kernel seemed fine. But suddenly after I increased the max freq to 850 MHZ the system crashed
So I reflashed the origin pr1.1.1 kernel and phone is running fine again and I can retry switching to the overclock kernels...
However after reinstalling the stock kernel the version info in the settings about screen shows "unknown". I tried to resolve this by reinstalling mp-fremantle-generic-pr but this fails because of an hildon-initscripts dependency failure:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
mp-fremantle-generic-pr: Depends: hildon-initscripts (= 1.26-1+0m5) but 1.26-1+dp1 is to be installed
E: Broken packages
Is there another way to fix this? I tried to force just download of the mp-fremantle* package, but this gives the same problem. I also tried to download the package manually using wget but this fails (or I do not use the proper URI).
Is someone willing to show the output of:
dpkg -L mp-fremantle-generic-pr
Or maybe can download the package using apt-get install -d and make the package available to us?
I hope that can help to get the version info back
Thanks

wget is something you paste on xterminal
wget http:\\titans-kernerl.org/example.iso which downloads the file and puts in home/user/
not sure if there is a app but its not needed
sudo gainroot apt-get install wget

I've tried Titans Kernel.
I tried to uninstall it, with sucess (not at all..i'll explain now).
It's ok, i come back to 600 Mhz max kernel, got the about device info, all good.
But..if i go to the file manager, now i have duplicated items to 'camera', 'images', 'sounds' and 'videos'. WOW.
All off them with the same duplicated info. So strange.
I think i dont do anything else to have this strange effect! :S
Anyonce can help removing this ?
(If connect to PC, i only have one .images, .sounds, .videos. . . )

Time is always a huge problem for me, but I've been kicking around the idea of writing an overclocking control panel / widget that does the following:
If there's enough demand for it, I'll give it a shot; anyone interested?

I've written a revised version of my script to analyze time_in_state output. It is available on the wiki page:
