Ummm...
Bruce Trail...in the 1980's...goes from the tip of Bruce peninsula (Tobermory) down to Niagra (Queenston) ..about 880-ish km.
Spent roughly a couple months hiking/ camping it's length. (world record is something like 2 weeks...crazy guys..)
I used to live along it so I've hiked parts of it so many times ..I can't remember the number...but only ever hiked the whole of it once...
Hiked so many good trails in Canada....some of the most famous and many little known..

Got a big blister under my feet today.
Just wearing slip-ons, no shoes.
Temperature hitting about 29'C.
Going up hills, rough terrain, against wind.
...man I'm gonna pay dearly standing up right 9 hours straight tomorrow

After today...it appears new legislation in Canada is going to come to the fore and put into effect....just how long it takes before the scope, breadth, width and depth are publicized ...not sure yet.
We were expecting inevitably that it would happen...
(Hell, we've been through this before with the FLQ Crisis.
And how the situation was handled was a clear message to perpetrators of terror.)
What's gone down ..I'm sure... has done nothing but strengthen our country's resolve..
But things won't quite be the same now... post AIO (Attack in Ottawa)
I wonder how long before legislation is tabled and passed...and the contents of it... humhum...waiting and seeing.
