Personally, I'm excited by the Samsung Galaxy S2 that's coming to market soon.
Simply put, it will have the industries best screen, an amazing 8MP camera capable of full HD video, and a gorgeous 8.49mm thin body (extremely thin). It seems incredibly full featured and amazingly polished and is sure to turn heads.

Ever since the HTC Flyer has been announced I was captivated by the pen input. In a predictable move, seems that HTC is giving developers access to an API to enable the pen in their own applications.

While the pen is potentially incredible, HTC seems to lack vision with how this apparatus can be used -- the launch 'annotation' apps are somewhat underwhelming. Coupled with sub-par specs, this device doesn't really look terribly compelling (to me) and will certainly have a tough time up against certain other devices.
My worry is that other characteristics of the device will counter the awesome pen-input system, and thus limit exposure. This may be looked on by the industry as "pens don't work" when in fact it may just be a subject of how it was implemented in this device.

Motorola Mobility Building Web-Based OS
Hedging its bet on Android, Motorola is looking for a way to have more control over its destiny.

The major challenge for Motorola is connecting their 'web os' (heh) to a functional store, or way of finding web applications for its users.
I anticipate that many, many more manufacturers are going to do the same.
If you take a look at the 'Chrome OS' thread, you'll see some examples that allude the the quality and capability that are possible with web applications. As browsers improve, more than 99% of common apps should be do-able on the web.
Like you, I'm skeptical about this course that Motorola has chosen, but I don't see it being a danger to their Android installation, but offers a tremendous opportunity to claim a stake on the upcoming web-warz.
They could have done without the press release...

You seem to be pretty up to date on all the Android offerings and I do not know if you are based in the States or not, but I just got a call from my new job stating that on Monday I need to have a mobile number to give them to print out my business cards. I'm not using my N900 so my question to you would be, what is the best Android w/wo Keyboard that handles business functions such as email and document management like spreadsheet and docs the best and is subsidized by US carriers such as TMO and ATT.
I appreciate your help.

I don't think I'm the best person to ask this question to! I'm neither an Android handset owner nor a US citizen. I'm merely an enthusiast.
The software should be easy enough to acquire regardless of the handset (eg. thinkfree office for documents and spreadsheets)
A few posts back LTman recommended the EVO 4G, or the HTC Incredible. These are both quite popular devices and reputed to be quite solid all around, though distinctly last-gen handsets.
The Galaxy S devices (eg. captivate/vibrant/etc) are also a very popular and beautiful device, but it is reputed to have a somewhat flaky GPS.
I will have to defer to someone that has real-experience using a touch-screen handset for an extended period.
So what of it, guys? Can anyone recommend a solid handset for Zack?

I just had a stroke of insight... or maybe just a stroke -- who knows.
Anyhoo... I was watching this video of the Tab 8.9/10.1 unveiling, and I noticed that the units animation was quite jerky. This is likely because it's an early build.

Here's the interesting bit. The Tab 10.1 circa Feb 13, which was using the Tegra 2 ran much more fluidly. This may imply that the hardware running on the 8.9" prototype wasn't Tegra 2, and likely the drivers were very early.
Now, if true, this doesn't mean that a Tegra 2 SoC isn't going to be in the final hardware, just that the Tegra 2 wasn't likely in this prototype device.
This further strengthens my belief that Samsung is looking into another SoC to do the heavy lifting for the new Tab series. If you recall, the first one was the change from a definite 'Tegra 2' to a more vague '1GHz dual-core'.
As always, time will tell.
