That was hardly Canadian...
Naw ....here in Canada...our concept of old children's shows...wild man.

more than 300 were done in a very short span of time.
Billy Van played almost every character (20 different characters I think) except Super Hippie .. the Mosquito ...the science segment by the Professor (played by Prof. (yup a real prof) Julius Sumner) and of course Igor and the mini-count .
The most of the masters were destroyed...however there is a cult following for this kid/ adult show and many people have alot of copies......the music on the show was fab. and also bootlegged at the time! (

Vincent Price did segment intro poetry for it for free...that's how much he loved the show ...

I got ..I dunno ...30-40 hours of the show preserved in multiple formats....including long-term preservation formats.

campy, charming, intelligent, witty, nostalgic...a real gem...
.It's got a place in the hearts of many back here in Canada.

ach.... Canada-France relations are fab!
Canada-Quebecois relations ? well...30+ yrs ago I'd say it looked a bit icy then ...looking back. We have always had divisive elements in Quebec...it has really depended on how good the communication was 'tween federal gov't and their provincial counterparts...Other regions have also grumbled about separation..over the years at one point in time or another....
but reality is ...we like being together as a nation.
