I ordered from buy.com and was given an "estimated" release date of nov 22, assuming they should ship on 23rd. i read in other threads, and some ppl seem to have consistent info on that as well. anyone else have anything diffrent or has gotten their n900 from buy.com?

adding to this.....on my orders page it says this order is in the shipping process and cannot be cancelled. They have not charged me yet. I think that will happen when they scan it out monday morning.

There is however good news - Nokia have advised that we will receive stock into our Nokia Retail stores to allow us to dispatch your N900 on the 3rd December. Please accept our sincere apologies for this further delay which is out of our control, and be assured that you are on a priority list for dispatch of a Nokia N900 as soon as it becomes available.

The item that I pre-ordered now features a $50 rebate, only for people ordering after Nov 16, which seems very unfair to the people who ordered earlier, when they should be of higher priority.
I've got a simple question: I need to know if you guys keep a "line" or pre-orders. Meaning that, if I cancel my order that was placed a while back, and re-order the item THAT IS STILL NOT RELEASED, will I get pushed to the end of the line, and receive my item late incase there are not enough devices in stock on the first batch you receive, at the time the item is released?
If so, is there a possibility that you can re-order the item for me, so I wont lose my place in line? Or maybe just change the order date to todays date?
Help would be appreciated, Thanks.

i pre-ordered here in italy and have just had a message from nokia and UPS to say the n900 will arrive on the 24th !
looking forward to playing with my new toy. previously had a palm treo pro through my work which was rubbish but introduced me to the idea of getting a proper smart phone.

I picked up my N900 yesterday at the Flagship store in Chicago. I even got it at a discounted price of $569 + tax
