Some people aren't happy with the status quo, especially after they purchased into Maemo, multiple Maemo devices and how in 2007, Nokia had a device and OS that could have been utilized better to avoid the current choices and paths.

To discourage that kind of banter is just as limiting as saying nothing but praise.

Honestly I think Cod3rror is funny as fack
His posts are pointless, but there is basis for what he says.

The way he follows various nokia's community is because he LOVES nokia, and as a result the most disappointed customer because of all the bad decisions Nokia has made from time to time to time. Noone could spread so much hate on Nokia and not love 'em. Kudos

I say we keep him

Oh, that's sad, because it's been lovely having you. I really hope you win that n9, but even if you don't, please don't leave without this special parting gift:

Just For You

You are right Gerbick. But, I do not understand why if someone is unhappy with the status quo, he or she feels the need to just repeat over and over again what their personal grief is. Start a thread about it, discuss it, please do. Making lame cracks about nokia and people who are interested in and happy with the n9 does not make any sense to me, at all. There are many people not happy, but danramos is the only one that strikes me as displaying such odd behavior.

Anywho, who preordered the N9?

Just as soon as Abill says his goodbye, then another one comes up to take his place immediately.

Oh noes, cod3rror's made the effort to sign-up to this forum for the 1st time ever folks.
Let the hilarity ensue....
He's a well known massive Nokia hater, the bile that spews dwarfs Dan's occasional whining.
And that in itself is fine, except that logic rarely accompanies it, unlike Dan/others etc.

I intend to address all his fallacies (where I see them) once I've got time, & if he'll slow down for a minute.
Where there is truth, I'll let that stand....

You're adorable, lad. Just for you... I'll leave someday. Keep that hope alive, little person.

Statements like these are the ones that make people call you a troll.
Maybe it's Nokia's track record and history of IMMEDIATELY divorcing themselves of previous devices as soon as the new one comes out--even if it's almost immediately after releasing the device (i.e. N810WE). Just saying--on this particular point, Nokia has burned people enough to anger them and they keep repeating the same mistake despite demands. (Go look at the bug reports with WONTFIXES and FIXED IN *next OS*).

Nokia does not instill confidence. A severely increasing number of Nokia defections would argue as much.

It's pretty clear they're the same person who's boosting and shorting the stock and profiting at your sanity's expense.
That seems far too brilliant to be true. Kudos on that theory, though.

As I'm reading along, I kept thinking that to myself. If you disagree, why can't you just shrug and move along? He expressed his opinion--they're probably perfectly valid to HIM. Just shrug, nod and move along acknowledging that you disagree and have the conversation you're actually participating in.

The only one? Here's what I'd like to know, though... where's your N9 now? Who are these mythical crowds of people who are happy with their N9? My personal grief? It's lessened a lot since starting to find that my Android devices are beginning to take over the functions I used to use Maemo for, but I really wish to see Nokia either properly support Maemo and its customers or at least give it all over for the community to support itself. Is that really so much to ask? If so, then why is it unreasonable to grief? Real questions, there.
