Hi,

To start off, I'm a pure end user, and I have totally no idea about Linux programming or developer mode or whatsoever.

I just installed N9QTweak today, and it has been really great to me D a huge thank to the developers who work so hard to make this happen for us all

However, I encountered a slight problem for tweak W, about setting different backgrounds for my 6 different home screens in portrait and landscape mode. I followed the instructions in the pdf file, and after rebooting what I got was an annoying red background for all but the Social home screen landscape mode. Restoring to default immediately solved the problem though.

Previously, I've been using Home Screen Setting app and I was able to set my wallpaper as my home screen background (for all 6 screens). Thus, I wonder if N9QTweak allow me to do as such as well? Also, what may have possibly caused the problem of red background that I got when I applied tweak W?

Those are all my queries. Thank you so much and hope to hear from you all soon BR

if you use the home screen settings app you should not change the background using n9qtweak...

Oops sorry for the bad grammar I meant to say that I used, not have been using. I uninstalled the home screen setting app before installing N9QTweak as guided in the pdf instruction. Unfortunately, the annoying red home screen popped up

Thank you for pointing that out, but may I ask if you know of any possible solution? Thanks again mate!

No probs...Are you sure you copied the files you wanted to set as wallpapers to /home/user/MyDocs/Pictures/.backgrounds/ and they were labelled exactly with the same dimensions as mentioned in http://wiki.maemo.org/N9QTweak#Tweak...op_backgrounds

Yes mate, I have checked and rechecked. Everything was in the correct sizes and copied to .backgrounds (I double checked this using Filebox on the phone). Yet, the problem persists. Furthermore, it is very weird that for the Social homescreen, when I turn to landscape mode the background I set appeared whilst in other homescreens it was all red D:

Do you have right names of your backgrounds?
Do you rebooted after applying them?

Yea I'm 100% sure that I followed all the steps closely and I did not make any apparent mistakes. That's the reason why I am confused that the red screen appeared ><

nguyendactritoan, tested right now, it worked like a charm...
I tried option W-2. here my backgrounds, try them... Just extract from ZIP to /home/user/MyDocs/Pictures/.backgrounds and DON'T rename them...

6 backgrounds
