Why do you need to patch to test?, this problem affects ANY & ALL patches, it just so happens that "hide tutorial icon" was in use at the time of writing.

Thanks for trying, seems there is a problem with both of my devices despite being reset numerous times,
I'm at a loss as to what to do next. Not much point in resetting again, plus it takes too many hours to execute and is not solving my problem......fk, fk, f*kety fk.

try to uninstall patchmanager, remove /vat/lib/patchmanager folder, reboot install latest pm3 and try again. and send me new logs. please make sure (if possible) logs are since device boot.
