This looks fantastic, and great for tablet video editing!

I'm really stoked about this software!
This is all fine and well but... where is it? How can I get it?

I think it's just being demoed at the moment. I suspect that it will be released soon.

It seems like a really great suite, and I hope that other companies follow suit. With software like this, it may be possible to take productivity on the go with only a tablet. With a keyboard and mouse, it may be possible to leave the laptop at home for casual tasks.

This is awesome. Seriously, this is a great bit of news and I have renewed faith in SE.

I hope they do well with this device and more manufacturers follow suit.

If their conditions are, basically, just obvious stuff like disclaiming all warranties or responsibilities for anything you do--then they've won me over. I really wasn't even considering them because I assumed the worst out of Sony, given so much of their history. I've avoided buying Sony ever since the CD rootkit fiasco of 2003/2004--and I've successfully NOT purchased a thing from them ever since, but this might convince me to give them another chance to earn back my interest in their product. Good on them for finally thinking about selling the customer what THEY want, not what the company's executive paranoids think will benefit the company despite customers.

If I've learned anything from my experience with Maemo and Nokia, it's this: If it's not out, I can't buy it and I can't even so much as download a demo--it doesn't exist as far as I'm concerned, and I even feel a certain amount of contempt for being teased with something that isn't out.

This is both a WARNING of a new trojan in-the-wild, and also just HILARIOUS... the title says it all:

Hey dan....need your help again.

I just reset my Tab to factory default again....but before I did that I formated my internal memory.

Now everything is fresh....and I installed Titanium Backup Pro...But I don't see none of my updated backups.

Am guessing by formating my internal memory I lost everything, but doesn't TB store my backed up apps on the directory listed below?

External storage: /mnt/sdcard
Backup directory: /mnt/sdcard/TitaniumBackup

So my information is backed up on the EXTERNAL SD card; isn't it?

Please Help...Thanks

Ok, I've been away for a while, but there has been tons of news! I'll get right into it.

First up, the SPB shell!

http://www.droiddog.com/android-blog...-spb-shell-3d/
http://www.androidcentral.com/spb-sh...-too-expensive
VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKqn6vANxpw

This good incredibly good looking homescreen replacement adds functionality like full-screen widgets that are TAT-like in UI quality -- ultra-smooth and incredibly stylish. Even widget placement is really, really slick.

The downside? It's $15 on the market! Ouch. Still, if $15 isn't that much money, and who knows, it may find a marketing with ultra-premium apps. That said, I would probably buy this if I had a premium smartphone (eg. Galaxy S2)

I don't know if you were aware, but the Free Amazon App of the day was 'Soundhound'!

This neat application will recognize a song that's playing using only your devices microphone. Very handy for those tunes that you would like to know the names of.
