Do I have time to change my order from a NeoN board to a full device? Is it even possible to do this through the shop?

Adding in part to wicket's query...
Out of curiosity ..
What is the difficulty level in installing the neo board in a n900 shell?
[I've never torn apart an n900 and rebuilt it so I'm completely in the dark on the topic]
Easy?
Moderate?
Difficult?
Tricky?
Challenging?
The answer to this....
may in turn...
make me wish to change up my order to a full device as well before the teams n900 body sourcing is finished ..

@wicket: please log in to shop and send a message asking for upgrade to complete device. I'll cancel your NeoN order and create a voucher for you which you can use to order a complete device

@ensormeans: easy to moderate, I'd say

For those of us who won't be able to make the first batch, the plan is still to order a second batch of N900 parts - albeit with a moderately lower chance of success - in a few months, right.

1000 Euro is really something many of us won't afford, especially in poorer countries (for example: in Poland it's 2.5 times as much as the minimal monthly pay and a even more than the average pay. And I know some people earn about 200 Euro per month)
Sorry for late reply. No there are no such plans yet, we wouldn't know how to do that. Dropping literally all advanced features would still not create any sort of "low budget" device. This is a low volume production almost custom made, there's little we could do to compete to manufacturers that sell half a million or more of one design.
I think Nikolaus is planning to produce yet another batch of GTA04, those are considerably cheaper than Neo900 but also not any sort of N900 successor, despite inheriting some achievements I came up with for Neo900, like the 1GB of RAM which GTA04 will also use now.

I've thanked exactly same post above. Didn't notice it's a question. Yes correct

PS. actually it's weird: I see two posts of same user, both tagged "Posts: 1" .oO(???) [edit2} oops, 1. post is moderated, whatever that means. Prolly only moderators can see it. funny: the 2nd post says "posts:1. Thanked 1 times in 1 post" and the post has no thanks - but of course I thanked to the invisible post. so no thanks on the supposedly only post of ibero, and yet...
