One more thing. They were claiming that they are not doing refund for IGG backers, so what do you call this?

Not only they are giving wrong informations and lie to contributors, but they are also discriminating those who are fed of it and want their money back.

But at least there would have been a little more income and they wouldn't have to rely solely on the investors.
I guess it has something to do with poor sales of Jolla phone. If it would have sold like butter, there would have been better incentives to develop TOH-concept further, but with such small user base it wouldn't be that wise to spend much effort and resources on something that would be bought by small portion of that small user base. Some interesting feat might have increased the sales, but I doubt it would have had that big impact, considering that there were numerous other issues to fix in the whole platform. It has been obvious for long time that they need partners adopting Sailfish OS, maybe they should have been more open to different implementations for different kind of devices even at the risk of fragmentation.

Only nerds cares the rest are even stupid followers or has a life to deal with and don't care about OS.

I can see that you do not like KDE. Really, I suspect that the support for mobile devices has just been better with Qt than with Gnome, quite possibly stemming from Nokia buying out Qt way back when and putting a lot of investment into mobile Qt. (I think even Ubuntu Touch has based their UI on Qt, if I remember correctly.)

But yeah, there's no reason I can see why you couldn't produce a Gnome-based mobile UI if you really wanted to. And right now, Mer is crying out for some good new UI front-ends, so if you've got some free time available...

But, here you are, implying that Jolla has money, and that they are going to survive this restructuring. I don't know what it is like in Europe, but on this side of the pond, a startup going into restructuring is pretty much a death-blow. Unless they can find an investor that has enough faith in their future profitability to both cover their existing debts and give them new cash to continue moving forward, there is no way Jolla can continue. And, given that their problem is that their existing investors have lost faith, the idea that someone new would sweep in and pick up the pieces seems far fetched.

So yeah, I think we're past the point of asking for refunds now, sad to say. There is no future for the tablets. There is no future for the Intex deal. There will be no future refunds.
I were supporting Jolla until they started to take as for a fools. They can call it whatever, but someone will probably pay for this one way or another. I also don't know how are things going on the other side of the pond, but you cannot collect money and simply say, OK thanks, we had a great time. I used it for other things instead what was it for, but hey I am feeling great so, so long suckers. They've broke several agreements and they can be legally sued. There were names that created Jolla, ran the company, made the decisions. They are the one that will be held accountable.

I am sorry for being a grim reaper and making those statements, but it is finally enough.

Also check my post - I think it is third above. Yes they have money, and they've issued refund to a guy from Netherlands 3 days ago and he was IGG contributor...

You do realize that the Intex-Jolla deal was announced in July @ MWC, yes? Why would that scare an investor off?
This alone casts quite a long shadow on your card castle of conjectures.

One more thing that people forgot, CEO of Jolla has literally cried telling how hart is in Jolla. They are fighting for survival, they need support/help a freaking blowj**... meanwhile he is creating Accelerator program called Jolla adventures. How convenient is that he put Jolla logo on the "different project".

The best part is:

"Antti is an emerging market and technology business adventurer, an entrepreneur and a strategist. He’s speciality is to create and grow companies: the bigger the agenda - the better; more impossible - the better. Antti’s core skills are in growth company and investment management, business strategies, financial modeling, and management models. His special talent and interest areas include M&A, fund raising (+50MUSD raised), growth company management, and working in emerging markets."

Well I can see how hard is for him at this moment. What someone has previously mentioned (what also brought my attention) they are playing monopoly while some people work for 300€ a month from which 200€ is basically a tablet cost that they've spent on Jolla BS...

It's not that I don't like KDE itself, I think Plasmoids / data engines are pretty cool.
