Thanks. On the phone they were saying a week again. I do hope this is not right and I get a nice email tomorrow. I have never had someone on the other end of the phone speachles before till today. I think this guy sort of knew what he was saying was not helping and could see the point. but still would not say sorry and not give any reason why they cancell without calling. When they put me through to someone else they said it is not them its all done by the computer so they can not stop this from happening. Says he will give me a call before it happens again but dont know how true this is.
I think that they may have a scrip that they read from titled what not to say to a angry customer and say all this stuff to you just to make your experiance with them more rememrable.
At the end he was snappy and says well do you want ordered again and call this number to ask why we do things like this. I so much wanted to say NO but I am angry because I want this phone.

I don't know if this helps at all, but it was looking as though everyone with a problem had used a credit card, the people with debit cards all seem to have been OK. If you've got a choice it might be worth considering using a different card.

I think I may have to in the end. I really do not like getting things on my DC as I have had problems in the past with tickets and things like that. CC gives you so much more protection if you have any faults. Lost over £100 on a web page once that went into Liquadation. Not that Nokia will be doing that but there is much more protection on a CC than a DC ( This may be why am having a problem lol )

First email at 11:05 yesterday, just got second email to say shipped, and status is updated on shop.nokia. I had selected standard delivery

Thank you for shopping at Nokia UK Online Shop.

The following item/s that you ordered was shipped on 3-12-2009 from our warehouse.

As far as the debit cards, I can confirm this, my order went through first time (triple discounted at 306GBP.. )

Though there was some oddness as the 306 quid appeared as a difference between "balance" and "available balance" for three days, when the shipping was taking place, then disappeared (my "available balance" went back up) for two days, then the money got transferred out all at once, with a transaction date one day later than the actual date! Apparently e-commerce is hard!
