Flashing will reset your phone completely as far as I know - this is why some much emphasis is put on being careful when installing stuff from devel/test. A good rule of thumb is to install one thing - make sure it is stable - then try another.
Your best bet would be to try work back and uninstall apps. Obviously make sure they are the ones you installed otherwise you could find yourself removing apps that came with the N900.

Ok I have Flashed the device yesterday, and it worked well for about 3 hours...BUT...once I connected to WLAN at home started browsing, it rebooted :( , now the reboot cycle has been started again.
Well guess flashing wont solve the matter after all.

zb88 - I got mine from the NYC store last week and i had the same issues as you, i returned the device and asked for a new one, I opened the device in the store, played around with it to make sure it was not a lemon.... everything checked out... With the new device i no longer have any reboot issues.

Got the phone only 9 hours ago from NFS Regent St, first reboot was on the train on the way home and have had plenty more since then. Totally random in terms of what I'm doing on the device.
Looks like I'll be on the phone to Regent St first thing in the morning...
