Match contact's first/second name, nickname to "^spam$" and grey out messages from it in the Conversations.
Or add an option to mark account as spammer. Whichever method is faster.
Optionally: do not show notifications for them. But that's already achievable with messageblocker, isn't it?

Thank you for the suggestion.

I can find the packeage overview for contact-zoom on maemo.org
http://maemo.org/packages/view/contact-zoom/
but it doesnt' show up in my application manager for download, even with extras-devel & extras-testing enabled.

extras is where I got it from. I don't remember manually downloading anyway.
The testing and devel may have been cleaned by repo manganement.

Wouldn't it be a good idea if we have a new repo something like uncssu or whatever where we can get all packages which are not developed bycssu or included in cssu
I mean if we have cssu-testing installed and wanted to use cssu-stable we can enable a repo and revert everything to original
in this way we don't have to reflash
apologize if this is not the right place to ask

(crossposting at http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?p=1308907)

For the next CSSU release perhaps either a soft control in settings or a hard limit to data transfer or priority to the internal EMMC flash memory.
I experience severe slowing up to to system crash and shutdown when:
-Transfer too many files over WiFi via SSH/SCP or a big fast download
-transfer too much data from the microSD or a flash drive over USB hostmode to /home/user/MyDocs
-trying to unzip large files
-big disc intensive operations such as apt-get upgrade with chroot Debian

I think it is the swap partition is brought int use to buffer but that is additional bandwidth to the EMMC where it just compounds the problem and everything bogs down when too much/unlimited disc access is permitted with no priority for system level access to non /home or swap partitions.

My wifes N900 came with a broken SD card slot and sometimes she needs to move a big chunk of files, she doesn't have the option of only using the emmc only in client mode where this problem doesn't come up. I find it annoying to have this big storage that cna only accept a few files at a time before locking the system sometimes even to the point of failure and automatic shutdown.

Żes indeed, fix the hildon-filemanager to show the whole FS. IMO the application is nice and fast to use, but not be able to see home is a major drawback. For some bigger file management nothing competes to xterm...
