Some people can need it for work. Or otherwise they'll be forced to use some blackberry stuff. However hopefully this can be uninstallable for those who don't need it.

The comment on the Jolla website stating
"Frequent system updates are provided over-the-air. Usage of WLAN is recommended."

This just shows that today is indeed the first step.
Let's not complain about all things that don't work, let's focus on the UX Jolla is giving to us. It's something new and the rest will be enabled in the software soon.

And by the time most people get their Jolla, there will already be an update, or one in the offing, so initial impressions are just that right now.

I do think they should've had a priority ordering programme for developers, as they can help plug any gaps (eg mms and fm radio with the n900), and boost the native app store, before normal users get one and get put off.

Yeah but don't forget, this is not Nokia :-)
This is a small company acting as a speedboat (jolla boat) within the mobile sea. Nokia was like the titanic, great engineers with ideas and fixes but a lot of managers having different opinions in execution:-)

I think you can just go to http://store.yandex.com/ and reinstall.
I also read something about being able to go to the Amazon store and install that if you preferred.
