Rumors from russian maemo fan site, 2day HK gets it's N900's with PR1.2 on board, rest of the world during 18 & 19 weeks.

So whats is the real reason we don't have PR1.2 yet?:
-Fimware still buggy?
-Revamped Ovi Store not ready?
-Other Ovi services not ready?
-Some apps they want to shine with (AccuWeather? Shazam? Games?) not ready?
-All of the above?

Well Nokia are probably working on Symbian3, Meego, SDKs etc etc. N900 isn't the only thing on their mind.
In any case this PR1.2 is only a dot release as someone pointed out here earlier, anyone with dev experience knows that dot release only make smallish changes/additions.
If this was PR2.0 THEN there would be a major major update. And meego is still in development as well, 90% of testing will be done on the Nokia N900 anyway, so we may not get an officical release from Nokia for the N900, but we'll still get the full Meego experience, from developers on meego.
The only thing missing for me though after this PR1.2 update will be Java and a decent GPS app (sygic is crap).

honestly. sygic in australia has been amazing so far. fast to lock. quick to use. easy and nice.
had no issues at all. love the **** that it brings up all st and suburbs as im typing
