This time last week I was SO excited, even shoving cash aside in my head... now I'm just like, meh! Whatever. This thing (whenever is arrives and whatever it's called and whoever is correct about the hwkb) won't be replacing my N900 before the harvest comes in - at least. Perhaps it'll make it to my Christmas list. Even so, I will not be jumping ship for a 9 month old G2/Desire Z or an E7 or even bother with the Xperia Pro.
My trusty N900 is still my buddy. In a mobile phone sense of course!
Peace out people. I'll be back when I hear a proper announcement.

waiting for Nokia N9 device is a pain.
knowing that it will not have a kb is a tragedy.
buying the original N9 with keypad on ebay without guarantee?!
expensive (because all of you would try to get it too ) and risky (guarantee)... .
i think i will buy an E7 this or next week.
Windows Phone 7 is no option.
it is ugly in my opinion.
and why on earth is there an xbox live app
i need a business phone and no gaming toy.
And android ... it only depends on the manufacturer how long your device get an update.
I do not know a single android smartphone that has got more than 2 updates.
in the last 6 years i only used full touchscreen smartphones.
starting with the Motorola A1200 Ming (my first linux phone!).
and I think, I really hate virtual keypads right now!
But IF Nokia releases the smartphone of our dreams (please with Meego or Symbian) ..., there will be always plenty of room in my trouser pocket!

reading through 15 pages shows me the following:
99% of this thread are totally off topic, folks simply posting their opinion on remotely connected areas (marketing).
honestly: nobody cares.
it woud be far more constructive if people who actually have CONCERETE KNOWLEDGE about the topic at hand would post instead of others spamming around here.
