I am running FMMS 1.1.0 now and still the same error.

Does entering phone number as Zero work ?
I cannot see a place to enter this in 1.1.0

My sim can send mms to any carrier in my N95 and oldskool 7610 and when these access points are analyzed, the same information is present as per apn configuration.

I dont know if it helps, but when talking to some pretty high up tech support ppl at vodafone AU, we completely removed my phone from the system and re provisioned it. when I sent a test mms to myself, the phone came up as a N95 on their system.
(phone identifies to sim, sim relays info to telco)

I am more than happy to help in any way, in so far as testing and relaying info is concerned ~lol~

Thanx SO much for the work U have done for the community.
Did you do gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/fmms? If you do this and then reinstall the phonenumber is automatically set to 0 since this works almost everywhere.
The reason it's identified as a N95 is because the application pretends to be one to make it work on operators that are stupid, such as t-mob usa

I'm actually not sure why it only works within the vodafone network and I've tbh done all I can from my end to debug it. If you can get the vodafone techs to analyze the outgoing mms and see why it's not forwarded to other networks that would be a great help

Problem with fMMS? Run in x-terminal: cp /tmp/fmms.log /home/user/MyDocs/
After that you'll see fmms.log in filemanager or when you connect the device to your desktop as a mass storage device.
E-mail the log to me, if you don't have the email address, drop me a PM. Thanks!

Hi frals
I noticed about the incorrect view on the setting. See this picture, the word Havoc is cut...

Hi Schturman.

It seem to be caused by your theme. Have you tried another one?

Hi
Sorry, but it's not.. I don't use themes other than Alfa...
And I don't have this problem in the oldest version (see pic from 1.0.9 version)...

And you can see the buttons in the oldest version is a little big than in the new version (1.1.1 and 1.1.0)

Okies, no problems, tech team only available M-F business hours, so I will hit them up Monday
Ya i did do gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/fmms
prior to the auto apn set itself up as the Crazy Johns carrier..
also reset via this method when i manually re entered the vodafone settings.
I will do a full uninstall re-install with this command also prior to tracking with vodafone.

Any hints or specific questions U can give me to help out when talking to these vodafone "techs" lol

( I will retest all size and connect modes to various carriers )

Right the difference is I've increased the label width to 20 instead of 18 because the swedish strings where hidden by the buttons when using width 18. Something in your theme/font takes up extra space as it fits nicely with default theme and default font. I'll see if I can make it dynamic or something, but I wouldn't hold my breath

Well, the optimal would be if they could track your MMS manually somehow - I have no idea what tools are available to the tech support or such tbh. If they ask for a message id or something you can see it after sending a message in the log file; you'll have a line saying MMSC RESPONDED: ('Message-ID': 'xxxxx') and some other values.

Interesting. I have no problems here with standard theme and language set to German.
