note: /etc/default/kernel-power is a file, not a directory.

Like Johad told - it's not helping. I've tried to start over and over again many times from default kernel and rebooting after every installation. Well. Need to wait kernel which is suitable for my phone

for some reason the new kernel did not get flashed.
did you upgrade from an earlier kernel-flasher-maemo?
what is the output of "uname -a"?

I installed version 24 (power) over version 21 via app.manager and tried to follow your introduction. It didn't work so I reinstalled stock kernel and tried to install v.24 over that. Did not work. I now have stock kernel again (maybe - since I'm quite confused because of playing with these about 5 hours )

uname -a
Code:
Linux Nokia-N900-51-1 2.6.28-omap1 #1 PREEMPT Thu Dec 17 09:40:52 EET 2009 armv7l unknown
I try again tomorrow but not with power kernel.
