Yes but for me i ordered on 19th Nov so it's hardly been half a month..
you know what he called me again saying that they needed to refund me my 68.98 cause my old order transaction was still on system and would be taken off my account too as it hadn't been 30+ days for me so they doubled charged me by authorizing a payment today. But the nice little lad told me he has refunded the money they took today and has included a refund receipt in the N900 package <3 which will be delivered tomorrow.
I didn't care about being charged double but i was worried if they didn't ship it today cause of error which luckily didn't happen and now my n900 is on its way xD

Ordered 19th November - Vodafone £30/m + Web 24mth 'Ready for Despatch' since Friday 4th. 9th Dec - "Dispatched" e-mail recieved and "Complete" status, device delivered a few minutes later!

So if you ordered it free and haven't paid upfront. You shouldn't expect a call. And hopefully yours should be delivered tomorrow

UPDATE 12:35 7/12: Got called for Payment Confirmation, and was told delivery Tuesday! <3 UPDATE : Delivered Wednesday! Status + Email = Complete + Dispatched.

That seems to make a difference I got it from Banbury, even though Southampton, guildford and london (& Heathrow!) are all nearer!
