@mihapodb: Titan coded the latest kernels to a max 1150 MHz clock.

I think some people should stop messing with their tablet/phone...

Anyway, the available frequencies in Titan"s kernel are:
125 250 500 550 600 700 750 805 850 900 1000 1100 and 1150
so you can't go outside those values.

I completely understand the sentiment, but for me, this is a learning process. There is a fear of bricking my system, yes, but I'm willing to take the chance.

I figure learning by doing and asking question is better than blindly poking around or just by reading/learning by theory.

I'm just really glad that maemo.org has such a wealth of knowledge and good people to help me and all newcomers through all of this. And I'm very thankful.

Now to use this, copy the above to the N900 clipboard, then create a new beecon widget, go to settings window, then click Advanced on right, click yes,then go down to the bottom, then click paste in top center, then click import on the right side, click yes. then go out. you will now have imported my exact beecon settings. Feel free to use your own script as the above script just sets it to default. (default voltages and 250-600 cpu) make sure you have kernel power settings package installed from app manager to take advantage of titan's kernel and my above widget.

Hmm. Not sure why. I imported what I put up in my previous post and changed title and the file it points to. It worked.

Would it be possible to overclock via the dropdown menu?

Kinda like a "BOOST" tab for when more power is needed?

In theory, it should be quite easy for someone to make an equivalent of Simple Brightness applet but for overclocking instead. Would be awesome if someone made one and make each button customizable to the kernel-power-setting profile you want.

@bigswed

Don't change anything in the above code I pasted manually.
First just import the code, then edit the command from the gui.
