IIRC i have read before that its supposed to remove the icon...Maybe I've screwed my phone to the extent it can't remove the battery icon?

Maybe someone else can share their experience so we can know if its supposed to be only percentage or icon+percentage...

Difference with original Mohammad's unrestricted:
- battery percentage view displays charging and powersave states
- battery common view (image) disables when percentage active
- items configs moved to /home/user/.status-menu so you can edit it without root privileges.
- fixed and working DropDown menu view (see below)
By reading coderus's post I get the feeling that it should work like mine is now (image is completely replaced by percentage).

Shame it would be cool to have an option to choose

If anyone knows where and what to screw to get them both visible at the same time, feel free to advise

It should be only percentage. In fact, in my experience, installing the system-ui bring to you the percentage without removing the icon, then by using the battery applet, it will remove the icon

I thinks it as you said because I've never installed the battery applet from what I remember...

My edit was directed to jamqpa...

Okay I tried to start from scratch so i removed everything and installed the default sysui. Then I only installed coderus's sysui and went to see if the icon would have percentage next to it but no luck. Was this what you guys ment?

Yup...Are you sure you re-installed the stock/default system-ui first?

Well my method was to uninstall all what i installed (0, 1, 2, 3, 6, 7) and i saw that in terminal it downloaded (i think) the default sysui when i uninstalled coderus system ui (0) . Is there another way to make it more sure?

That should be it...Anyway are you using open mode or inception? We can try re-installing sys-ui manually...
