I uninstalled the old version (maemo19) using app manager and now my N900 won't boot.

It was the first one, and it turned out that the rest of us wouldn't have called it fried, but at most extra crispy.

And try to just reflash the kernel first not the whole image.

In other word use "flasher-3.5 -k image_file_name -f -R" and not "flasher-3.5 -F image_file_name -f -R" from your computer.

Hi,

everytime I have issues with my system after I get the latest Titan version 25 installed and running...
Here are my steps and below the issue:

rm -f /etc/default/kernel-power
ln -s /usr/share/kernel-power-settings/ideal /etc/default/kernel-power
This created the kernel-power file and copied the ideal setting in there

After that nothing happened so i did this:

sudo /usr/sbin/kernel-load
Again, nothing happened at Conky stats.
Rebooted and now the problems started..
After boot the background is completly removed (was a loopable wallpaper) but the preset shortcuts remained.
Conky stated the new MHz but the loopable wallpaper can't be accessed anymore. There are all corrupted and look distorted in image viewer.
When I get the error message that they are corrupted, the application manager won't install or uninstall anything anymore...

What to do ?

Thanks, I will try that!

the "ideal" settings probably don't work for you.
try the other templates or reset to default

Thanks Titan,

just was wondering why it constantly goes wrong on my cell?

On another kernel from you the Ideal worked great for me...

What do you suggest on trying...
I just want a bit more speed and better battery life

Great work on the wiki Titan! I think you have all the info there now. Except the thing about avoid mhz-steps.
