If no PR1.4 what of the 'years of support' promised by Nokia (more than 2 apparently)?

So we can conclude no more updates bar 1.4?? IF thats the case, yet again Nokia will have left its consumers in the dark, and misled us about the length of time of support. If this is the case I will again have been duped like I was with the N900 - this will most likely be my last Nokia sadly.

Does anybody else remember Nokia announcing that they guaranteed there would be 2 years of support for the N9?
