you would firstly need an awsome tvcard to plug either the ps3 or 360 into it. which exists! so your games are cuming up on your monitor. you would then need some way of controling the game through some sort of game controller emulator on your pc. you would then need to figure out a way of forcing the resolution of the game to lower itself so the n900 doesnt have to pull as much data from your network connection so the lag is minimal.

when i had my n810 i did this running gta1 on dosbox on my pc thru my n810 over a 3g connection 150 miles away from my computer. it sucked like. but the it worked!
Emulation is not possible, but Remote Play is definitely possible which is working on PSP with PS3 and even Sony Ericsson Aino can do it.
And there is already client for Windows and OSX

Well, i don't think so. Watch this Dreamcast emulator for OpenPandora:

Itīs the same hardware, and the port it's no NEON coprocessor optified. Too slow, and may be never framerate-playable, but...

Look what else your N900 can do.

Get better than Google Earth on your N900,
Open your magic glass screen thing at the back and point at the earth, far higher resolution than google's one

Did you also know you can use your N900 to go to a beatles concert or as many concerts you want for free, get an MP3 and out it on your N900 and close your eyes and there you are , the same as a free concert ticket.

Also check out the ability for you to say something in London and for it to be magically transported to New York in near real-time, open this thing called a Phone app and dial a number from New York , then speak into the phone when you hear someone, and as if my magic your voice is being transported 3000 miles as if it's really loud or something.

Not sure on this one but apparently you can also catch peoples soul's using this wizardly called a Cam-era, not sure about that one though.

Simply buy a bluray player for your tv. Open your N900 camera, and point it at the tv!
I know, my intro was kinda misleading but still.
[/sarcasm]
It took me 3 times to understand that... followed by a big LOOLLLLLLLL
even this is misleading

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS3/Xbox360 emulation in NOT possible on nowadays PCs (even the TOP TOP TOP specs pc)

Heck....even PS2 emulator (PCSX2) is not 100% fully playable (for that you need a very powerful PC - require C2D-@3GHz to get nice fps)

Just so you know...it has been proved that if you want to EMULATE a console (not port a game duuuuh)

You need at least a PC 10xtimes as powerful as the console itself
For example PS2 runs @300MHz --> Thats why a minimun 3000MHz cpu is needed....(Google it if you dont believe me!!!)

Xbox360: triple-core IBM @3.2GHz designed Xenon as its CPU, with each core capable of simultaneously processing two threads, and can therefore operate on up to six threads at once.

PS3: IBM-designed Cell microprocessor as its CPU, which is made up of one 3.2 GHz PowerPC-based "Power Processing Element" (PPE) and eight Synergistic Processing Elements (SPEs). The eighth SPE is disabled to improve chip yields. Only six of the seven SPEs are accessible to developers as the seventh SPE is reserved by the console's operating system.

NOT TO MENTION THE GPUs!!!

You do the calculation and tell me if its possible to emulate any of these beasts with nowadays PCs

Not to forget a good/well-programmed emulator

Anyway....

PSX and N64 should be doable,
N64 emulator worked perfectly fine on my overlcocked 300/450Mhz Celeron 8 years ago, and PSX emulator worked on my 600Mhz PC.
Dreamcast is in the league of PS2, so it won't work without fast processor and optimization. PSP is about the same as PS2 too.

You did't break any ground here, everybody already knows about VNC and the ps3 controller hack. The only reason nobody made this post before is because they knew performance would be beyond unusable, I don't know why youi didn't come to this conclusion yourself.

Gaming over VNC is never a good idea, making misleading topics is never a good idea.
