Yes, please please search before! Look for the following

Well, I have a n810 with the latest Diable flashed. I have the Maemo Chinook Repository installed in the Package Manager, and it is enabled.
Issue: when trying to install the videocamera package, it fails, and the message is that I need to have libssl0.9.7 installed first. Well, the Gronmayer site says that the only repo that has that lib is the Chinook Repo.
So, is there any work around for this. It beats me

You can use Chinook packages in Diablo with minimal issues.

However I wonder if you what you are actually trying to do can be accomplished by just running
Code:
/usr/bin/camera
?

and libssl0.9.7 is here: http://repository.maemo.org/pool/mae...ree/o/openssl/
Code:
deb http://repository.maemo.org/ maemo4.0.1 free non-free
or better yet:
Code:
wget http://repository.maemo.org/pool/maemo4.0.1/free/o/openssl/libssl0.9.7_0.9.7e-4.osso2+3sarge3.osso6_armel.deb
dpkg -i libssl0.9.7_0.9.7e-4.osso2+3sarge3.osso6_armel.deb

For streaming video over the internet using the N810 I really like Livecast

No, ""/usr/bin/camera"" didn't help me run the videocamera, but I found the lib file I need, and it installed OK. Many thanks.
