I think we found Wall-E's little brother

ps: It would be cool to put him to fight Sony's Aibo.

I was wondering if you could snap another shot with a droid or some android phone underneath it's foot.

There is only one way for that robot to evolve now...

That would only be the icing on the cake though.

Everything? It looks so very potent, indeed.

Now as a first mission to immortalize the N900 to the entire world and generations to come, send this little fellow in to Fukush1m4 zone to bravely clean up the Pluton1um C0rium debris while documenting its action over uncensored live TOR streamed video footage (after it hacks itself into the local 3G equivalent),

so doing leaving the local Asimo bot with only one logical option in his artificial brain: jump under the bullet train to safe face.

Maybe Mugen should be allowed to sponsor the battery backpack a little.

Not sure I'd trust that mean thing with some plutonium - I reckon it may decide to go rogue on Mankind....

I too would love to build one of these. I was trained as a mechanical engineer, my other hobby is RC cars and have a good understanding of the power systems and motors used for this, and have previously built a cybot just for fun...

My problem has always been that whilst I have the mechanical understanding to build the machine, I still don't fully grasp the software to operate these things. I still have my cybot and would love to have the n900 control it. Shame they never released the software for it.
Kinda the same here, i've built a couple of robots myself, the first one a cybot too, after that ive built my own controller for cybot with an old fritzbox(running linux) modem and a microcontroller board, after that some standalone microcontroller ****, but i never get them to do anything cool cause i dont know all the advanced algorithms for sensor data interpretation
