@rrdbala
thank you for instructions. Im new in this so i dont know anythink about xterminal and this stuff... So first i need to download this attached file and copy it to the n900?
When I enter first command my terminal said: "Package unzip is not available, but is refferred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source."
I would be realy thankfull for any help!

1. download the archive
2. extract the archive
3. copy the turnbyturninstall.sh file into your mobile,
4. go root to the folder destination in x-terminal and then type sh turnbyturninstall.sh
5. make sure you got internet connection available.

Just tryed it and it works. The only downside is that there are only limited soundfiles, some of insructions are coming with text-to-speech. But that is only a small issue and I suspect that it can be edited later with more detailed instructions.

Props to the ones that have made it, I mean the proper ones, not these copycats

No luck for me, I tried the script above, got a couple of error messages along the way, and now Maps won't load past the moving blue line.
Going to try and restore the back up I made.
Does anyone know if this is included in the CSSU?
Thanks

Where is the turnbyturn.sh file? Is it in the archive?

I don't want to change it as it messes up date formats etc. Anyone know if it will still work and what the limitations may be?
I feel like it should not be a problem if you dont switch the language. Please dont quote me, but other than the voice talking, I dont see why the language should be English.

Im sorry, didnt mean for this. I had no idea it was already done, and some other website "stole it". I thought nokia posted it on Facebook, but it seems like Nokia has nothing to do with it. Again, thanks for the hard workers, no mean for copyright infringement or anything!

proper credits goes to Blaizzen and all developers as stated above

some site copies their work and publish it without even stating their names, real shame...

please edit the first post and add link to the original thread..

[EDIT]

even the website uses files directly from people without mentioning names...
"wget http://www.pittnerovi.com/jiri/hobby/electronics/n900/maps.tar.gz"

original quote from Blaizzen
I did not know this. Sorry, and done!
