I've just uploaded the new version of MeeeCast (0.8.4.2) to OpenRepos.
Please test it.

Thanks, great app and now working as well 
Do you plan to make the background transparent to fit Jolla's appearance? It would be nice to at least have it as an option.
Also there is a weird white tint when flicking between pages and a line between them. See this:
I found a different bug, though - when you open hour-by-hour forecast, it's impossible to scroll.

No, this could be a great feature! That way you can emulate widget behavior by opening different cities in different windows. Please, keep it (at least optionally).
