But, what I'm really interested to know is will it give support for A2DP?
I really need these http://www.motorola.com/motoinfo/pro...alObjectId=177 to work with the N800!
Same here! I have heard that it's possible via software update, not upgrading hardware. Think Nokia N91 GB, hi-fi nseries bluetooth and wi-fi but not a2dp UNTIL N91i 8 GB, only difference bigger harddisk!

I can virtually guarantee it won't. According to what I've heard on mailing lists BT headset support (SCO) is a much more prominent need since it goes hand-in-hand with VOIP (And it may not make it into this coming release either). A2DP is a completely different animal and requires a fair amount of hacking with ALSA and BlueZ to function. Just hearsay, but that's the word.

Let him watch. The closer I get to my severance date, the less I'm worried.

That's just dumb...
This thing has the potential to be a dang good media server either in the car or in the living room... That is until you are forced to pump your media through that noisy mini plug... on top of the small contact surface, there is a Mic feed running right along side of the stereo out...

An A2DP dongle will cut the noise in half and move the signal away from the Mic in.

I need a gee whiz app for this thing.
