How about Application = N810?

Then it's time to recalibrate. . . .

Accuracy is indirection now?

How interesting.

Nobody's saying gronmayer shouldn't exist. It's an OK bandaid for a bad situation, but it isn't a solution. The right solution is for developers to get off their lazy asses, close down the 3-dozen random repositories they've created and get their stuff into Extras(-devel).

Then I would have several n800 and n810...
Yes. I vote for it.

snap it! (GA, yes, accuracy is sometimes indirection, when the situation accurately described involves indirection.)

Well, Applications = N900 sounds better to me...

/me shakes head.

lol, OK, whatever.

I was merely attempting to illustrate the incentive system over at maemo.org, and "Application = N810" does not do that. <_<

If you actually think that was a yes, we have a SERIOUS communications problem.

I don't see how any reasonable person could derive "yes" from what I said.

Look you Seniors (in appellation only I think).

It's all very well for those of you who understand where to find repositories and how to enter them in to the Application Catalogue (you know the bit where Free, Non-Free and Chinook, Bora etc has to be entered in different fields).
But I don't fully understand this stuff properly yet, and going to Gronmayer and installing a repository correctly just by clicking 'Install' was very convenient for inexperienced users like me.
Also searching for non-standard Apps for a particular OS helps a lot.

I have tried to type repositories in manually (and I am learning what goes where) but if anyone knows of a 'click install' repository link a la Gronmayer, I'd appreciate a linky.

I don't think anyone, senior or otherwise, has argued against the value gronmeyer provided. So...???
