I did check sound notification today, didn't work for me too (N9).
Thanks, have to check that.

I don't know your native language, but everyone who's speaking/understanding german is able to add this league at openligadb.de. (I think last season both leagues were supported). There is a overview at http://www.openligadb.de/Sports , which leagues are supported by now. As I wrote in the first post it's a community driven database, so everyone can create this league.

Ok, I found the sound bug, so now you should hear a sound, when this option is switched on (bug fixed version in 1st post). If you don't like it, you can change it:
Replace tor.mp3 and tor_fav.mp3 (for sound, if favourite team goals) in /opt/meegoal/sounds with your own files.
I also added the icon, thanks again for that, fredson!

Great, sound is working now!
But it's pretty loud. You really should add an option to change loudness in future release.

It uses the system volume, so lower your system volume

Nice, wished u used something more global such as
soccerstand.com
or
livescore.com

as I think this is the only problem with the current apps on the store

@et3rnal: Yes, as a livescore-app it's mostly limited to german league, as a database it's limited to the european top leagues.
Do you think there would be potential, if openligadb.de provides a english interface to add leagues, there would be interest for other international leagues? Is so, I would contact the admin of the side and ask him for language selectable interfaces to add leagues and results.

I don't know, if the data provided by the two sites you mentioned is free for use. I searched a little bit before finding (and using) openligadb, but in most cases you are not allowed to parse the websites or you have to pay. If you have a site that's free and fast, I could try to expand MeeGoal to use different sources.

@Mr_NkStyle: That would be great. You find the instructions in http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...2&postcount=13
If you need any further help let me know.

P.S.: Voting has started, if you like my little program feel free to give me your vote
