I ordered my N800 last monday. Paid for 2 day shipping. Got the N800 and SD ram on wednesday and the NavKit on Thursday. (It appears that UPS can decide to reschedule your two-day delivery for one extra day whenever they just feel like it.)

Darn glad I ordered the N800. Was hesitant because I knew the new model was coming out soon. BUT the N810 adds nothing I want.

I haven't needed a hardware keyboard, and I like having the GPS in a separate bluetooth device. Not sure how the program/maps are going to work out with the new OS2008... but the GPS unit works with MaemoMapper also.

ANYWAY: You get yours today! You'll have a lot of fun with it.

I sure will . Just finishing up my last class, my roommate just called and said the box is sitting on my desk .

I was a little worried about getting one so soon to a new model coming out, but the only reason i even considered the N800 was the buy.com price. I really didnt need to spend $250 but i sure wasn't going to spend more. Plus i agree- i don't see anything on the 810 that i think would be beneficial for me. I too like the idea of getting an external GPS, that way i can also use it with my laptop or Axim if need be. Anyways, ill probably be posting from my N800 in about an hour and a half

Must make it tough when the employees take you out for happy hour. Hard to turn them (him) down. But then you can always blame that last beer on them. (yourSelf)
