Mplayer seems like a pretty poor application - not even a slider to advance through the movie. I decided to uninstall it.

Here is a review of the MP1550...

3 differences from the MP1500...
- MP1550 has 5v voltage regulator (this is why I bought it)
- MP1550 has standard charging connector
- MP1550 is black
