Exactly what I experienced. A brief connection, then an immediate bye-bye.. I also uploaded to OS2008, but prior to the upload, no problem.. Let's hope that this will be remedied.. the bluetooth connection was extremely handy and i've been playing with all of the variables for an hour, and still nada..my thanks to 'sparkling' with his suggestions and you about mentioning the possible Diablo infection..Don

I have a Nokia N95 which works in a limited way, i.e. it loses the connectiom every 5-10 mins. Which is a real pain, i bought the N95 to use with N800 just for internet, but find myself having to use just the N95 - kinda misses the point.

I didn't try anything, my Treo 755p just worked. The user name <username> field is replaced by the name Sprint gave you and which is available on the Phone Info screen. The password is the same as the code you used in pairing, I think. I had some trouble but it just started working without any particular comprehension on my part.

However, I just switched to the Centro, and had the problems mentioned elsewhere. And the solution was to install USBModem, as mentioned above. USBModem is available for a free trial.

In Europe (or in most European countries) we can use ANY phone with any carrier. I never bought my phone from my Carrier (I buy my phones on amazon).

N800 and N95 or N76 work well togheter.

I had the same problem before updating to the lastest SW version on my N95 (21.0.016 in europe). Now it works fine.

Ok, I'll give it a try, but I think my N95 is running 21.0.016 E already, maybe just reinstall it.

I just got an N800 yesterday and it works very well with my Blackberry 8130. Sprint told me I would need to go through a complicated process of setting up a connection and whatnot. Not so. In fact, I just let the N800 set up a connection...it did everything seamlessly, and it worked the first time.
