ungh i'm still getting the 139 error, even with dpkg, -P or -r

the install old version trick works, but getting the new version going is still a problem.

guess i'm off to google error codes.

glad to hear its stable though

I wonder if any vulnerabilities in Gecko are backported to MicroB. In this sense Fennec might be a more secure brower.

grrr, I'm getting the segmentation fault errors too. Was able to get a clean uninstall by installing the old version linked above, then uninstalling. But the new version of xulrunner won't install, no matter which method I try.

The good news is, now I know a hell of a lot more about installing/uninstalling stuff from the command line than I did a few hours ago.

i am getting the same errors when i try both manual and application manager uninstalls of xulrunner. i also tried to install a earlier release, as suggested above, but it did not help, i guess i will reflash
