You should drop the spaces in the path. Besides, unless you've created a link, your external card is in /media/mmc1. I suppose you have a folder named "x" in there, so you should write:

dpkg -i /media/mmc1/x/*.deb

ok, keep things easy...copy the files in your home directory and install the single packets with
Code:
dpkg -i [packagename]
rather than using "quick" commands like wildcards and so on.

it's not a problem of packages...is a problem of correct usage of the shell

Dude, seriously, desktop applets lock is second only to sex! (which is on par with good food and nice sleep by the way... oh, and a large properly formatted data file according to the inabitants of Chapek 9)
Finally no more applets messed up by mistake

The tablet is slower than the PC for one, and the x11vnc port is rough. Can't really work around that...

But it this so you can view what's on your tablet's screen from a normal computer?
