Frederic

Thanks for your work to have this working on the n810. I could install it without issues this time.
However when I try to import a glossary file I downloaded from your sourceforge.net site, I dont see the .xml files getting included or no glossary comes up.. Not sure if this is an issue of if I am doing something incorrectly..

Also I think an option or a detailed how-to to create new glossary files would also be helpful. I think the glossary content is important for this good application to be useful( I could only see a Data converter for MioFlash files...)

Thanks
- Shin

Hi Shin,

I'm glad to see that it works. To import a glossary, you must import the zip file as is. Don't decompress it.

I never thought about that but it could be an interesting idea to have an option to download (and upload) glossaries directly from the website though the application, like a software repository.

Thanks for your suggestion. I will update the website and add a how-to.

You can find some information in the Online Help section of the website or the Help item in the ? menu of the application itself.

It's kind of annoying that you have to check the parent directories in order to load the glossary underneath it. It should be simpler because it could deter a first time user after several attempts of the quiz not loading..

It would also be very nice to have an alphabet teaching feature that maybe ties in with xournal or loads through xournal for both Korean and Japanese.

OK, don't make me sick this guy on you.

By the way, I don't know where (what thread) to say this but the most popular thing about my tablet (N810) when i show it to people (with an IQ) is numpty physics. They end up borrowing it for several hours until they complete most of the levels. It's a very popular game and I'd like to see it added to with further optional levels.
I'd like to see..... walking stick figures get pushed out of the desert, stealing eggs out of birds nests, multiple inter related complicated machinery that all gets kick started with a simple completed task of you dropping something or knocking something over into the first object, maybe even an added Japanese characters level or levels that make you draw the vowels or constanants succesfully and drop them on something to complete the level.

Hi aironeous,

Thanks for trying the application.

The parent checking feature allows you to quickly select (or unselect) a group of words for study. It may be annoying at first, but I believe that it can also be very convenient when you get used to it.

I don't know xournal. I will take a look to it later. Meanwhile, you can set an image for a given word. It's better than nothing.

Hey mikkov,

could you have a look at the goldendict package for the n900? If i want to install it, it says that the package is corrupte.

I would be very glad if you can fix this issue...

Thanks for your help!

Quick reply...
Goldendict can be installed on any phone running Diablo (Maemo 4).
It can even be forced onto Maemo 5 (N900), and you will see its interface, but no dialogs/popups can be opened, so I don't know where should dictionaries be put and whether it will work.
Can somebody port goldendict in a normal way to Fremantle?
Now I use QStarDict.
