Maybe, we should invite BGR to test drive the Maemo 5 lead device and see what he thinks. Once I see his blog post on the Maemo 5 device I might have to change my opinion. ;-)

2. Resistive touch screens are more precise than capacitive ones but more fragile and do not allow for real multitouch usage.
