I used a BT keyboard a lot with my N800s, and I'd whole-heartedly recommend the Palm for that.

However, I find I hardly ever use an external keyboard with my N810; even though the thumb-board is a bit slower, it's so much more convenient that I never think to get the keyboard out, and so stopped carrying it. In light of that, and that you didn't mention size as an important factor, I think a compact rigid keyboard (such as the Apple one) would likely be a more useful trade-off.

I second that. I only carry my N810 complementing apple bt keyboard when I know I'll be typing lengthy emails/docs, or will need to use non-english languages in an official manner (where leaving off pesky accents and using replacement letters is not an option )

I didn't know for 100% sure that it would work with my N810, but even if it didn't, I still have a Palm Treo 755p that it would definitely work with. Turns out it works with both. It even works with the N810 while connected to my Palm Treo 755p via bluetooth for internet access. Not bad!

It's definitely as good as any notebook keyboard I've ever tried and the dimensions when folded are just a little bigger than the N810 itself.

That is one of those keyboards that's branded Palm but will work with any device that will accept a bluetooth keyboard.

I have this one and love it to death.
Agreed. Mine is the iGo Shasta, but it is effectively the same keyboard.

I don't have an N810, but the Palm 3245WW works great with my N770. I only needed to pair it once and any tap on the keyboard re-connects it automatically (I'm running OS2007). I got mine from a seller on eBay, ~$39 shipped. I noticed on buy.com that there's a seller asking for ~$33 shipped. Since I'm planning to use mine for travel, the folding up capability is a must.

I rock a Logitech diNovo mini. It's way more expensive than other bluetooth keyboards. But it pairs nicely with the N810 and is only about a half an inch larger in all directions. The mini has a flip up cover that holds my WiMax edition perfectly. The keys are even back lit in the same orange. I originally bought it for my tablet pc. Now that I have the N810 the tablet stays home. Check it out http://reviews.cnet.com/keyboards/lo...-32784878.html

Here is another satisfied Apple bluetooth keyboad user. Works fine with my laptop for more ergonomic positioning than laptop keyboard and every now and then I can use it for the n810 when I need to write. Some keys are in the wrong position (ctrl) and not all keys can be re-mapped but like it nevertheless.
