But euh, what is the difference of having the mat and needing to plug the adapter into there, or just use a USB cable or additional charger? :S
Don't get me wrong, great idea! But it would have to be built into devices nativly to succeed I think! Like the Palm Pre has (first steps).

One plug thats all. The universal disk, is wireless, just plug it into your phone and place it on the mat and it starts charging.

Case:
If the other G1 case fit, this one should too. I have been using this case for a year now:

It has a clip and belt loops. Far more secure and no chance of the clip slipping off when getting up or down or getting caught in a seat belt.
Contrary to some of the reviews, my G1 works fine.
