guys this thread is really stupid, everyone is telling him about reset the device pulling the baterry, did he do it? hes not telling none of you what hes doing to solve the problem, you are posting to help him but him is not doing what you are recomending.

I don't know if it's still a problem because I manually removed Tracker from my laptop for this reason.
Tracker looks very nifty, and I'm sure these issues can be solved, but it has had problems in the resource consumption area before, so it's worth monitoring Tracker's CPU and I/O usage from time to time in case it's a culprit.
