How do I access my config file? Where is it stored on my n900?

No, even with the TV remote, if I tap once the power button to turn the TV on, it doesn't do anything. I have to hold the button down, the TV's red light starts flickering then turns green.

Okay, let's try the simple way first. Create a new button called 'On'. Add the 'Power' command 5 times.

with all of the high end remotes pronto crestron etc. you can find the lirc codes or hex codes of any remote start here there is more in the middle of the page. http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?p=922721

I had tried it's not easy but it is possible to find and add almost any command

Done but did not help. Holding down the power button causes the red light on the TV to blink once rather than flicker several times and turn to green like the original remote and SKY remote.

Try adding 5 more and so on until it works. You don't need to hold the 'button' down on the n900.
