Hello everyone,

I have the Nokia BH-102, offered as an accessory for the N900 on Nokia's website, and my phone doesn't even see/recognize it.

I have no problem pairing it with my MacBook Pro or my GPS TomTom Go 720...

They're the same brand!

My Jabra Bt530 has worked flawlessly so far. Lucky me I guess.

There's a problem with the Music Player widget on the N900 using bluetooth A2DP controls. When the widget has a playlist/song loaded, you can start and stop music without an instance of media player loading in the background. Without the media player running only the A2DP volume controls on my headset work... i.e. the skip track buttons dont work and it is really annoying.

My headset is Nokia model BH-504. I'm unsure whether my complaint above applies to every bluetooth headset but I'd assume so.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Maybe it should be filed as a bug???

It's mystifying. I tried using A2DP on my Nokia N82 and it works flawlessly with the controls, playing music and using wi-fi with no drop outs. I really don't understand...

I have connection issues as well with my car (BMW 330).

Apparently, the pairing was fine--N900 detected the BMW Bluetooth and was able to pair with it using the correct pass code. But now, when I start the car, the car does not seem to be able to connect to the phone and the connection LED on the BMW (next to GPS) remains red.

I had same issue with my new Car stereo Kenwood KDC-X993.
It would connect no problem and then disconnect randomly within the next 5mins.

I have solved this probem. I believe by disabling Power save option somewhere on my phone.

I am now able to get in and out. receive calls No problem with no disconnects. My thoughts is its the phone power saving fucntion shutting down systems one by one saving power even Bluetooth.
My screen saver power down is still active.

It will not however obtain Contact list and hass issues with USB connect and detecting my MP3s.

I hope this helps. just throwing in my 2 cents. And I appoligize for punctuation as my Original g15 keyboard. all my right Pinky keys do not work ie comma colon. I have tried to fix this to no avail.

I have a problem connecting my N900 tot my Nokia carkit. It disconnects after a short while. When i do have connection between N900 and carkit the quality of speech is terrible. I can not hear what the caller is saying and vice versa.

The quality of bluetooth connection of my former phone, a Nokia N95-8gb was perfect. So it most work.

Is this a bug in the N900 and when is Nokia going tot fix it?

It must be a bug. I have the same issus with my Philips SHB9000 but the music quality isn't bad everytime. When it gets bad I just restart the headphone and reconect to N900 and the the problem has gone. But the disconnection problem when calling always occurs.

I have to report a similar issue.

What I have noticed is that if the device you are pairing with advertises A2DP as well as handsfree, like HFP, then you have issues. If just using it for handsfree, HFP or HSP and not flipping back and forth from A2DP.

Reason I have conclude this I had a stereo in my car, cheap Aldi one, that only did handsfree and had no issues.

I have replaced it with a stereo that does handsfree (HFP) and streaming (A2DP) and I am getting issues like above.

I am suspecting the N900 more than the Clarion car stereo.

Is there a bug I can vote for??

upgraded the firmware by air and it seems to be ok so far, used for about two weeks now, no more disconnecting from handsfree or bluetooth via my car. my firmware is 2.2009.51-1.002. give it a try!

I had the same disconnecting problem before I upgraded it, and had to switch back to my samsung i900 due to keep disconnect from car while driving, had to turn off the phone and restart, or the car.
