When you unzip the folder..there is already an transitions.ini no need to rename or anything. The problem is placing the file...i DID place in \usr\share\themes\"YourThemeFolder"\ and nothing happen?? And i am not seeing any original transition.ini file there that you can overwrite. I place it in "default" folder...i place it in "hildon-desktop"...NOTHING WORK!! I see a transition.ini in hildon-desktop. And when i replaced it...nothing happened. Am i supposed to restart the system or do something to see the NEW transition?

Care parte de "reboot" nu ai ințeles?

There won't be a "stock" transitions.ini file in the theme folder you're using.

Did you make a back-up of the hildon folder transitions.ini file before you overwrote it?

Ok i got it now. I just have to reboot. The author of this thread should mention "REBOOT" after placing the file in the folder..cuz i have no idea!!

edit: ok, this is fine now ..i don't need to reboot...i wonder why! Maybe you have to reboot one time and then everything can be tested dynamically.

I don't know if this is for other users but.

When there is the originals themes installed like the blueish one and the gold one.

there should be folders named Alpha and Beta and Default and default.

The default folder seems to copy the .ini file to the alpha (blueish standard theme) folder. So in order to have this mod for the (goldish standard theme) u have to copy it to the beta folder.

Moving the file when the OS is live seems to have an effect without any reboot. Removing the file gives it the default settings But i have stored a backup to be sure.

Best Regards

Which one? The one in the N900 root directory or the one in the Hildon-desktop?

Also how to see the root folders on Windows 7 using PC suite?
