Hopefully, if it ever finds one, it will ask for permission to install it ? :-)

My only two complaints:
1) There is an initial few second delay before you can hear anyone speak but I am told by the Gizmo devs that this is due to hardware speed limitations on the 770 slowing down the initial connection setup and there is not much that can be done about it.

I'm sure it will; it will, however, most certainly not say "You're running the N800-Version on a 770, which is something we never supported. We now it worked until now, but the new version will set your batteries on fire if you install it on the 770. Are you really sure you want to proceed?"![]()
The point is that even when I'm asked if I want to upgrade, I will not know if it's safe.

Well, obviously you just answer "No" until you've read here that someone else has done it and it works...
That was an easy one. What do I win ? :-)

Well, the answer would be one of
1) There will be one version of Gizmo in the future for both devices. It is only for marketing purposes that they now offer a "N800"-version because everybody talks about N800. Don't worry.
2) They will continue to develop separate versions for each of the 2 devices. It is not safe, in the long run, to use the wrong version.
