What I don't understand is why someone would sell only to the UK? Are you not part of the EU? We have money in the rest of Europe too you know.

there are a lot of guys here who have a lot of ecommerce experience. I would NEVER repeat NEVER buy from someone I do not know via bank transfer (!)
To make your offer more attractive you might offer paypal payment. this way if the phone does not arrive the poor buyer can at least get his money back. But be sure so that YOU are also safe only ship it to registered pay pal addresses. Or do a physical delivery and cash payment. This would be my prefered method.
btw. i am not in for a new n900as I already bought mine - in the US where it is cheaper and you don't get ripped of by the tax ppl
