Solution implies reflash phone and for someone could be a hard way, be careful

IMPORTANT, made a backup using backup app before do nothing. Reflashing will delete all the programs you have installed, not the settings of the programs. After reflash you could go to backup app and restore everything.

Be cautious, I deselect all the themes when I was restoring applications.

Easy option if you use Windows use Nokia Software Updater, or not, be careful, but do a backup before to be able to restore applications and some settings after reinstall update.

Nop, images, music, videos, and everything is in home directory will be still there after firmware reflash.

If you use windows you could avoid all the process to type commands stranges running Nokia Software Updater, the effect will be the same, all the applications will be uninstalled, but you could restore with a backup.

A word of caution from experience, NSU is pretty notorious to brick phones due to some nasty hanging, just do a quick search on this forum about how many that bricked their device while using NSU to flash their N900.

(think I personally have had to send away atleast 7 phones over the years to nokia service due to bricking with NSU under windows...)

Ups so be cautious, I'm in a MAC and I'm using the command line way, I have no problem but as you say its more complicated that NSU way.

Also you could wait and see if someone some way that avoid to reflash the phone.

/smacks myself in the face.

Think im getting tired behind this keyboard...

I will check if there are a way to clear/ reset /home/user/.theme/

If it works I post the result.

Possible to do if there are only stuck backgrounds, might work with themes as well.

Dear users...

Its not because of any theme.. I reinstalled the same theme but its working well now.. Its just pointed out when you install any theme and try to check it, you got know that theme is not working. Actually this bug is from the Maemo 6 demo, which you dont recognize when you install it...
