2. It works as you said but I had a different idea in head.
(Just a suggestion: maybe we could have the option of having the icon in grey when the bluetooth is off and blue when on ?)
What do you say?

Now I got what you meant. The answer is No, as it IMHO doesn't add value - the bluetooth status is already displayed in the status icons; it doesn't make sense to track this in two places.
