Anyone who says youtube is "perfect" is an overzealous N900 owner, it is far from perfect and nothing like having a dedicated youtube application like the iPhone or Android does.

To clarify, on my 10mbps down wifi connection, I load up a youtube page and at first the video is choppy and so is the sound, this goes on for about 10-15 seconds and then it smooths out. Once it's smooth it becomes clear that you're watching the video at below 360p resolution. After that the video plays smoothly and pretty much all is well.

I'd rate the whole experience about a 5/10, with the 3GS's at 8/10.

Here you go http://www.free-tv-video-online.info...et/family_guy/

I only use the zshare links because they load fast and it doesn't lag at all in full screen.. enjoy!

Flash video sites generally work pretty well. I regularly use my n900 to watch youtube videos, robot chicken videos on adult swim, and anime on streaming video sites.

As previous posts have said its not nearly as good as a desktop computer experience but its the best flash experience you'll get on a mobile phone.

That never happens to me the only time the youtube desktop site takes a while to load the videos is when I have low reception when I'm using my vodafone internet. I seriously rate it 10/10 for a mobile it's amazing, loading youtube is one of the first things I show off on my phone.

n900 is bad at streaming any kind of video through microb. kind of pointless having flash if it dont preform. i had a better youtube experiance with my n96!!

Quick question, would one be able to stream the college basketball games from the ncaa website?

http://mmod.ncaa.com/

I would prefer to stream them via the n900 then on my pc at work.

There is a dedicated YouTube application for the N900 as well. (called Zoutube, downloadadble)
Use that, if you prefer.

I just tried it and it is very laggy. Some sites work well, some not. Not sure what is causing this inconsistency.

It seems flash works better on full screen mode, but I could not make the above site work on full screen to see if it would be any better.

Thank you all for your comments and support. YES, my connection wasn't good at my location , I moved closer to the Router. speakeasy.com/speedtest show an avarage of 8.5 mbps UP and 4.2 DOWN ....I'll be relocating the router at the end of the week!

I played a 9 min clip on Youtube with no problem and very little lagging at the beginning. Then a 21 min Family Guy episode with zshare with no problem.

since then, I left it playing Internet Radio and it has lasted more than 5 minutes with no interruption.

I'm loving my N900....Thank you guys!

I can't wait for Flash 10 and MMS support to be out!

Happy N900 Owner!
